Filler is a Hyaluronic Acid based product; a gel like substance that is naturally found in the connective tissue, eyes and skin. Hyaluronic Acid is a water loving molecule that binds up to 400 x its weight in water. It works like a sponge and fills up with water, filling out fine lines and wrinkles whilst giving the lips a plump, hydrated and healthy appearance. Adding Hyaluronic acid will create healthy, hydrated & rejuvenated results.

About Dermal Fillers

At the B.TOX CLINIC we use a range of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers to improve the appearance of fine line, wrinkles and folds in the skin as well as enhancing features such as volumising the lips and adding definition to the cheek bones and jawline.

Frequently asked questions

What products are used at the B.TOX CLINIC?

What products are used at the B.TOX CLINIC?

Unless otherwise specified; we use Revolax Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers as standard in the clinic. Please read on to learn just some of the reasons we love this product.

High Purity Hyaluronic Acid

REVOLAX™ uses non-animal based hyaluronic acid with high purity and is a completely natural substance optimised to synchronise with human skin tissue.

Unique Cross-linked HA Technology

REVOLAX™ has a unique cross linking technology that does not need free hyaluronic acid to adjust the physical property of its gel formula.

High Visco-elasticity

Is one of REVOLAX™ stand-out properties. This malleable consistency creates immediate and long lasting volume and also allows the product to break down evenly with a natural finish.

Highly consistent Mono-phasic Structure

REVOLAX™’s is comprised of a regular and dense monophasic structure, which makes the gel product stable and consistent. The consistency of the pattern allows for naturally harmonised volume, smooth injection and promotes a stronger support system within the skins structure.

Low Phase Angle %

REVOLAX™ has a low percentage of product migration, meaning that once injected the product is more likely to stay close to the injection site with accuracy.

How long will my fillers last?

Many people ask this question and the answer is that everyone is different and it depends on the following factors;

  • Which product is used
  • Client metabolism
  • Diet and exercise
  • Filler location

Fillers give immediate results as well as continued results as production of natural collagen is encouraged and the dermal filler itself attracts water into the treated area.

Products Used…

At the B.TOX CLINIC we favour the Revolax range of dermal fillers which happen to have a fantastic life span that rival those more well known on the market.

Client Metabolism…

Each clients metabolic rate will largely influence the longevity of the filler. Those with a a high metabolism will break down the filler far more rapidly as well as clients with a higher muscle mass.

Diet & Exercise…

Intense weight loss will also metabolise your filler much faster than normal, especially if you are skipping meals.

Product Placement…

Another factor to consider is product placement as this also has a direct affect on how long the product will last. For example, fillers placed around the mouth or lip fillers tend to break down much faster than others due to the amount of muscle activity in this area of the face.

How are fillers administered?

Topical Numbing cream is applied to the area of treatment before administering the Dermal fillers into the soft tissue using a very fine needle.
